Meeting at Proteccion Civil in Monterrey at approximately 7:30 Saturday morning briefing was given to the lead handlers of each team. The dogs were loaded into the truck and the handlers loaded up into the Proteccion Civil vehicles and we all drove to the search site.
Upon arrival to the area, maps were gone over, searchers were organized, then deployed and after a preliminary radio check the search began.
The terrain was pretty harsh. Everything that grew seemed to have sharp thorns on it.
After many hours of searching, one of the Law Enforcement personnel did find something - but after much discussion we finally decided that it just wasn't the body we were looking for.
Whether it be
different organizations
or
different countries
It is always an HONOR for me to work with like minded people with one common goal.
Excellent job was done by all!
Day Four
Sunday was devoted entirely to water work - Our scheduled boats were unavailable but we wasted no time by working the dock areas stressing applied obedience gridding and scratch alerts.
