The Dude and I just got back from Miami Beach for participation in 2005 IACP - International Association of Chiefs of Police and Mac had a grand time modeling uniforms for professional service/working dogs from

K-9 PRO WEAR Winnipeg, Canada

He went in under his own colors (cadaver recovery) but very soon found himself dressing up like the big boys. He did an excellent job and was asked for his picture by it seemed like everyone from Miss Florida to Army, Homeland Security, U.S.Marshals, Secret Service folk - - and many others.

Mac went through four days of meeting people and making friends - from young to fully grown - the dude was a hit. There were over 14,000 Law Enforcement professionals and 800 trade booths - and the biggest problem he had was trying to figure out what the heck that walkin, talkin "ROBODOG" was.

Personal comments from the Uniform Manufacturer - MAC the DUDE, aka MAC the Magnet. simply put --- made K9 PRO WEAR's booth come alive at IACP MIAMI! That bloodhound worked his heart out, day after day. He was the best behaved, gentlest and most sociable working dog anyone could wish for. He captured the hearts of the big, tall, short and small - grown law enforcement professionals and many others returned for repeat visits with THE DUDE. He and Tanya his handler, were terrific ambassadors greeting thousands of professionals to showcase the special features of K9 PRO WEAR uniforms. I'd work with both again in a heart-beat!

Thanks Laz for asking the Dude to participate in this event. Great lessons and great memories - and a great cool vest for Mac to field test.

He even got to sit for his caricature drawing - it turned out great - what a souvenir.

Everyone was wonderful from the staff checking him into a NO DOGS ALLOWED South Miami Beach Holiday Inn where they gave him a special one time waiver - to the guard at our gate

All the big equipment - all the lights - all the people - it was an amazing environmental socialization lesson for this bloodhound
